October 25, 2022 New Moon in Scorpio

October brings with it two spectacular moon sightings. The full moon appeared early in the month, delighting us with the Hunter's Moon. But it's the New Moon that falls this week which currently holds our attention - especially as this one coincides with a spectacular partial Solar eclipse.

The new moon phase is a more introspective time and represents new beginnings as we plant seeds for the future. It's a good time to set clear intentions for the month ahead, clarify your goals, start new projects. It is also the time to acknowledge your growth since the previous new moon.

Every new moon is a cause for celebration, a chance for a fresh start!

When you start to follow the moons cycles you become more intune with the natural rhythms of the earth. The rise and fall. Many people who connect with the moon preform rituals for the full and new moon. These can be quite simple or very intercate depending on the person and where they are at in their journey.

This Scorpio New Moon is closely aligned with the Sun and Venus. Though the Sun and Moon are over ten degrees apart from the South Node, it can be called co-present with them in the same sign. Emotion can run high. Ask yourself if there's something you'd be better off letting go of, while moving in the direction of community. This New Moon can connect to profound personal growth and self transformation.

Venus, the planet of love, beauty, relationships, and money is highly active at this time, helping to open, awaken, and expand our heart center. With our heart center expanded and open, we may find out focus begins to shift towards our relationships. We may also feel more inspired and creative. Our hearts are open to receiving abundance, and we tend to find the beauty in things.

There's a Grand Trine between Mercury, Mars, and Saturn, newly direct, in air signs, supporting intellectual activity and communication, and the Sun and Moon are tightly semi-sextile Jupiter at 0° Aries, which is called the Aries Point, where the equator and the ecliptic intersect. This shows exuberance and extremes. it can also mean good fortune, a lucky break depending on your ♡ natal chart.
